Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PingVault ("Service"), operated by PingVault ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using PingVault, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
PingVault is an uptime monitoring platform that monitors websites, APIs, and servers, and delivers alerts when services experience downtime. The Service includes a web dashboard, real-time notifications, public status pages, and SSL certificate monitoring.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at support@pingvault.live.
4. Subscription Plans and Billing
PingVault offers the following plans:
- Hobby (Free): Limited monitors and features, no payment required.
- Pro ($7/month): Up to 50 monitors, 1-minute checks, email and Slack alerts, SSL monitoring, custom status pages.
- Team ($19/month): Unlimited monitors, 30-second checks, team members, webhooks, and on-call scheduling.
All paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, who acts as the Merchant of Record for all PingVault transactions. Paddle handles tax collection and remittance on all transactions. Prices are in USD.
5. Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee — if you are not satisfied, contact us within 30 days of any charge at support@pingvault.live and we will issue a full refund, no questions asked.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use PingVault to:
- Monitor services you do not own or have explicit permission to monitor
- Attempt to circumvent plan limits through automated account creation
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the Service
- Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our infrastructure
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent
7. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided "as is" and we are not liable for any losses caused by downtime, data loss, or service interruptions. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of scheduled maintenance in advance.
8. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We store monitoring configuration, check results, and incident history on your behalf. You retain ownership of your data. We do not sell your data to third parties.
9. Intellectual Property
PingVault and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request an export of your data within 30 days of termination by contacting support@pingvault.live.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PingVault shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost profits, data loss, or business interruption. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
